- Howdy!
-
- I'm hoping to get some advise on using some new (old) items
- for my C64 that I recently inherited from a friend:
-
- 1. BI 80-column display: well, the use of this is pretty obvious,
- but I'm wondering if there's a way to 1. plug in multiple devices to
- the cartridge port, and 2. get the C64 to recognize the multiple
- plug-ins. Specifically, I'd like to use the 80-column display, but I
- don't want to have to give up my RamDrive to do it.
-
- 2. BI BusCard II: both this and my RamDrive want to attach
- themselves to the C64's R44 transistor. Are these two items
- compatible, and is it OK to put 2 jumpers on one transistor? Also,
- given that I don't know a lot about this stuff, what would I
- potentially use the Bus Card's IEEE-488 connector for?
-
- 3. I also got a VIC-1011A RS232-C Terminal Type cartridge. Am
- I remembing the FAQ correctly, in that I can use an RS232 adaptor like
- this to use a non-Commodore modem with the C64? Does the "C" make a
- difference?
-
- Any advise/comments appreciated!
-
- Thanks,
-
